How do you differ love from just mere infatuation? What is the elusive thing called "Love" that everyone so desperately needs? Sometimes, we sort of like this guy because he is cute? Or the girl likes him because he is handsome?
We live with the misconception about what true love is. We have been fed this magical fairly tale like feeling when we were kids with all the fairy tales and the tall, dark and handsome or the tall, fair and beautiful cliches! Its the way story books and the media are…but then, we forget they are just stories. Meant to amuse and entertain.
But when is the point in a relationship or even if you're not in a relationship, that you feel confident its not just the warm fuzzy feeling and its actually something? When do you take an initiative and let the other person know? Do you always wait for the butterflies to come or just waste your life waiting for them?
Little details like this sometimes question my sanity, and I still don't have answers . . .

ReplyDeleteEven infatuation sounds like love until its over. Kind ov difficult to tell them aparts but I guess love lasts and infatuation is soon gone!
btw for you its really simple.. If you thnk you wont get bored ov dat persn in 3 months den its love :P
I guess one-sided "love" when ends is known as "infatuation" that once was. Depends on perspective probably =P

and sadly, I dont really have the answer to it, atleast not yet. But what I know is, when its out of our hands, it is love :)
