Cherish...
A friend came over yesterday; we hung out, talked about people, about the bitchy ones, about the ones who’re no longer a part of our lives, about the ones who made us happy at times, about perfect jawlines and turn ons. And about those with imperfections who make us laugh, who’ve been there through everything, who’ve made us into the person we are today in one way or the other. And I realized how sometimes you’re so busy looking out for that perfect someone that you overlook the special ones around you. So I texted my mom at 5 in the morning and told her that I missed her, I could’ve waited and called her first thing in the morning but it just seemed like the right thing to do. Life is too short to be around people you love; you never know what it would be like if one day you wake up and they’re not there anymore. There is no right moment. Right now is the moment. Seize it and tell someone what they mean to you.
